Ritz-Carlton project under way near Tucson
Cottonwood Properties and Greenbrier Southwest Corporation are joining to develop a new Ritz-Carlton hotel-golf residential community in Marana, Arizona, near Tucson.
The 6,200-acre
Ritz Carlton Dove Mountain project will include
two Jack Nicklaus Signature courses. The first course, to be completed
later this year, will host the World
Golf Championships Accenture Match Play event in February 2009.
The hotel will offer 226 guest rooms and suites, along with 24 individual
casita rooms and suites. Facilities will include two ballrooms, three restaurants
and a 17,000-square-foot spa and fitness center.
Developers also will build 300 luxury single-family homes –with prices expected to start at $1.5 million- as part of the project.
